The POW-R-Bait was POW Castings original high performance downrigger weight, designed to compete with other high performance fish shaped weights that were available at the time. The POW-R-Bait is the culmination of 2 seasons of research design and testing, after 5 mold modifications and hundreds of hours of testing we settled on our current design.
The POW-R-Bait has a sleek hydro dynamic design, that not only tracks well, but also causes very little blow back and can be seen on most electronics set ups for depth verification. The aggressive dimples on the side act to create a vortex action that we believe simulates a bait ball and stimulates the lateral lines of nearby predator fish species.
